My name is Salko Safic, and for more than 30 years I have studied and practised the classical art of woodworking. What began as a fascination with the timeless nature of the craft grew into a lifelong dedication to preserving the traditions of 18th century craftsmanship. Every piece I create is shaped by that heritage, resulting in work designed not only to be used, but to endure for generations.
I believe true craftsmanship is found in the details.
From carefully selecting quality materials to applying natural, eco friendly finishes, every stage of the process is approached with patience, care, and intention. I work primarily with traditional hand tool methods, valuing the quiet precision and character they bring to each piece. My aim is to create furniture and objects that honour the beauty of the past while remaining practical and meaningful in the modern world.
