Bio
Pastor Katie Nathan was born in Chicago, Illinois to a loving Christian family. She was raised in a home that expected good behavior, over a true relationship with Jesus.
Katie first started desiring a relationship with Jesus in her early 20’s while working a retail job. It was there that she found a Bible in the lost and found; she started reading it and could not put it down. She felt the pull of her identity in Christ through the Word of God and felt as though she was being connected to something deeper than herself.
Katie began to pray the things that she read in the Bible and they began to manifest in her life. When she first started to pray scriptures, she asked for Holy Spirit to comfort and hold her. She felt Holy Spirit’s arms wrap around her physically. She would ask him to do that every night before she fell asleep. “I had a comfort and joy that didn’t make any sense in the natural.”
After seeing how a relationship with Jesus is tangible and intimate, Katie was lead to Grace Ministries International where she began to realize the lies she had accepted as truth. She learned that her value and worth are not defined by relationships with others, but by the Life of Christ in her. It was there her awareness of who she is in Christ developed. Katie began to understand the height, width and depth of Christ’s love for her. This understanding has created a love for others and a desire to see them fall in love with Jesus.
Katie is anointed and has a deep passion for people. Her focus is Spiritual Growth and Development with the application of how to walk it out WITH God.
