Bio
Never in a million years did I see myself starting a blog. If I am being honest, the first thing that came to mind was who in the world would want to read what I had to say? And what made me think it was something anyone would even be interested in? Intimidation overwhelms my soul about eighty percent of the time. Always worried about what others will think, or what others are judging me about. Always worried about who is going to see me make a fool of myself. And eventually, I said THE HECK WITH IT. You know why? Because one day I will realize that no matter what I achieve, no matter what my failures are, no matter who I impress or what impact I have on any of your lives… at the end of the day, it’s up to every individual that knows I exist to decide what they want to think about me. And that is out of my control. Those words are hard to swallow. You know what is in my control though? What I choose to do with my achievements, failures, & life experiences. If it means I start a blog about it so others know they aren’t alone, or others are able to learn from my own mistakes, or use a delicious recipe I invent & share, then I really would feel accomplished to know I impacted at least one life (or was a part of someone’s delicious dinner). And whether you continue to come back & read my blogs weekly, or maybe you choose to stop reading here, who knows. My goal is that you take something from what I have to say (or said already). Even if it’s a brief moment of self-reflection or encouragement; I’ll take it!
