Bio

Heather Somerville is a member of Medill’s National Security Journalism initiative and holds a Master’s of Science at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has an extensive background in investigative and multimedia reporting, and specializes in national security and immigration. A McCormick Foundation scholarship recipient, Heather currently reports from Washington, D.C.
