Bio
I am now almost retiring age and have just taken up the vegetable gardening gauntlet once again. After having tried various methods of vegetable gardening over 35 years including double-dug deep beds, raised beds and now no-dig, I am on a mission to get my veg patch producing organic food for one vegetarian and a mainly vegetarian.
I am an renewable energy engineer by profession, specialising in converting household waste into compost and recyclable materials and plastics back into oil. In my spare time I have been gardening almost as long as I can remember. Certainly since 10 years old when I used to help my Mum and Dad in the vegetable garden at home. This is about the same time as I have been interested in astronomy, but that's another story!
