Bio
58 year old female. College graduate, veteran, disable and widowed. Suscribed to word press to have an outlet to voice my pain regarding involuntary sterilizations performed in Contra Costa County, yes I was a victim of this Gross negligence and battery against young women of color and poor. I was seventeen and I had one child. I thought that I was just getting my tubes tied so that I would not have to take birth control pills they made me sick. I did not understand that I would never give my son a brother or sister or give my soon to be husband children. I did not that there were regulations that should have prevented this from being done. I like to sing and I like golf and I am a Christian. I was sterilized because mentally I was unfit to have another child. That was a permenant solution to what I was made to believe was a permanent condition. Now that I am physically ill as well as suffering from chronic depression and complusive disorder and PTSD from all of the physical and mental abuse. Aftter being on Social Security Diability for twelve years they abruptly cut me off saying that I am no longer disable so to me this means that Contra Costa Conty made a grave mistake and should be held accountable. I have one Son that I love two Granddaughters I adore and two dogs Bear and Hercules. Let talk... Are there more women like me.....
