Bio
I've written 18 novels, published by Pocket, Kensington, Mira and Source Books, many of them set in the lush countryside of historical and contemporary Ireland where I live and write during the summer months. My ancestors, the O'Flahertys, hail from Galway County. I take great pride in the prayer posted by the English over the ancient city gates of Galway City, 'From the wrath of the O'Flahertys, may the good Lord deliver us.' During the remainder of the year I live in Southern California where I read constantly, attempt to navigate the confusing world of Facebook and, more recently e-publishing, concoct creations from interesting cook books and enjoy the company of my grandchildren. I am the author of NELL, winner of the RITA award for paranormal fiction.
