Bio
In 1995, Kristin and I packed up our family and moved to Tampa to join Grace Family Church — on the one year anniversary with 125 people meeting in a jazzercise studio. Over thirty years later, GFC serves more than 14,000 people across multiple campuses weekly. That journey has been the greatest leadership classroom of my life.
My role as Lead Pastor has always been the same: clear the path, make the hard calls, and then step back so the people I serve can step forward. I take the arrows. They get the credit. That's the job.
I believe leadership is deeply personal. It starts with how you treat the person in front of you — with honesty, belief, and genuine investment in who they are becoming.
In the fall of 2026, I will publish "What Pop Believes"— a book of faith, character, and life lessons I most want to pass on.
I am still learning. Still asking questions. Still all in.
