Bio
I and a Software Engineer (retired) and poet with an MA in creative writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and other letters after my name that have nothing to do with poetry. I haven't published a pamphlet, or a collection yet, but have had a handful of poems published in The North, Envoi, and a few other UK poetry magazines. My most recent claim to any sort of poetry fame was to make it to the long list of 130 poems in the 2012 National Poetry Competition run by the <a href="http://www.poetrysociety.org.uk/" rel="nofollow">Poetry Society</a>. Anyone living in or around Manchester might know me as the editor of a monthly newsletter of poetry events called The Dear List . I also edit the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/poetsandplayers" rel="nofollow">Poets & Players videos </a> and upload them to YouTube. Poets & Players organise regular poetry and music events in Manchester.
