Bio
I grew up in a little town in southern Ohio. My husband and I married young, and we had three girls. I loved being a stay at home mommy, but we struggled, as most young people do. So, at the age of 35 after uprooting our family I went to Ohio University to study Education. I received my teaching degree two and a half years later. Teaching was a very satisfying career, but providing a good education was not without frustrations. I found that having fun helped overcome many of the frustrations, and best of all it helped children retain information. The 28 years went by quickly. I retired in 2007. I lost my husband in 2014 after a long illness. I have one granddaughter who lives in Colorado, and one grandson who lives with me.
