Bio

I'm an artist, author, and adventurer; also a mother of six, ages 38 to 12. I have 3 daughters born in different decades, and 3 sons, one hub. I taught at CSUSM and Palomar College before moving to Bend, OR, where I taught at COCC. I quit teaching to write, ski, and work at REI, until this past year. Now I live in Camas with my amazing 12 year-old, and hub. My thesis "Liminal Ekphrasis: Between Art, Writing, and Motherhood" is published in part in the anthology "Creating Writing Lives: Motherhood Memoir" by Demeter Press. My art is on the cover.
