Bio
I freelance as a writer, editor, instructor, and multimedia consultant. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Writing (Spalding U., Louisville, KY). While there, I served as Editor for The Louisville Review. Along with a B.A. (Rutgers U.) and M.A. in Anthropology (Binghamton U.), I am a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature. Not only am I a Vermont Arts Council featured artist, but I also worked as the Council’s catalog Editor for its Art of Action Project. My published work includes fiction, creative non-fiction, literary criticism, journalism, poetry, biography, and photography, having appeared in the Burlington Free Press, Public Republic, Altarwork, Tecumseh Herald, The Times Ink!, The Hinesburg Record, Vermont Catholic Tribune, and League Lines. A sample of my published writing can be viewed at Public Republic, an online literary magazine. Professionally, I am a member of the League of Vermont Writers (having served twice on its Board of Directors), Phi Beta Kappa, SCBWI, and a former member of AWP.
