Bio
Hi everyone! I’m Laure Passchyn. Born and raised in Belgium but I got a taste of other cultures thanks to my parents. I am 23 years old and currently still studying. I successfully obtained my bachelor and master of science in Handelswetenschappen, specialized in Marketing. That gave me a taste for social media and blogging and thus I’m trying to obtain my Postgraduaat Digital Marketing and Communication (fingers crossed).
I decided to start my own travel blog filled with my adventures to inspire or help other people. At first I found it hard to find a proper name for my blog, but then my friends gave me an idea.
When I traveled to the U.S. for the first time, the officer at the immigration bureau pronounced my name as Lori (for those who speak dutch know that it’s not pronounced that way). During that trip I also noticed that they had trouble pronouncing my last name as well. I went to Google Translate, typed in my last name and clicked on the sound-button; Passchyn was pronounced as Passion. Nice!
So back to my friends. I told them that story and they found it so funny they started to call me Lori Passion. Everything I do, I do it with Passion. The name stuck and I transformed it to Life of a Passion (life of a Passchyn).
