Bio
Mafua De YaYa is a five piece Brazilian band fronted by singer Rebecca Valim, from Rio de Janiero.
The line up is Drums – Double Bass – Guitar – Keyboard and Vocals
The band plays Brazilian music at it’s most sophisticated, showcasing songs made famous by artists like Elis Regina, Rossa Passos, Chico Buarque and Gilberto Gill amongst others.
The band will fit musically anywhere a Jazz band would, but has an authentic Brazilian sound different from Jazz and unique in the U.K
The band are also happy to mix in Jazz standards with our usual set
