Bio
After working as a student counsellor, supervisor and Head of a University Counselling Service for many years, I decided to stop counselling and pursue my love of writing. I now write poetry, stories and counselling related articles. My first book, Finding Love in the Looking Glass: A Book of Counselling Case Stories, Karnac published in 2014 and it is now published by Routledge. I wanted to show people how valuable short term counselling can be and how we can change our lives when we decide to build a positive relationship with ourselves. I decided that blogging would be an enjoyable challenge and a way of sharing ideas and experiences in shorter pieces. This blog will appeal to counsellors, counsellors in training, anyone curious about personal development.
