Mallory Editing is me; nobody else edits books for my clients. I strive to improve - but not change - anything about your story. I maintain your voice; it's YOUR book - not mine. I am sometimes overly thorough, but that's because I know what it's like to have that feeling of fear when it comes to sending your "baby" away to get spiffed up for publication. If I edit your book, then I include you as a family member during the process. Family first - and it's important that my family members' books are ready for super-stardom. I will edit a few pages of your manuscript so we can get to know each other.
I live in the quiet countryside near Gainesville, Florida. I invite y'all down to experience the county life. I dearly love the South (having been here in the South all my life), but my editing specialties range from fiction (even - egads! - set outside the South, religion, self-help, humor, autobiographies, and young adult fiction.
