Bio
I've always enjoyed graveyards. I think my interest peaked when I was starting high school and I lived across the street from a huge graveyard and walked through it as a short cut. Then I started to study famous people's graves, where they were buried, what their grave stone said and what people left at their grave. But it wasn't just famous people. It was ordinary people as well, who lost loved ones and visited their grave and left mementos at that grave. Taphophilia is defined as a love of funerals, cemeteries and the rituals of death. Many taphophiles study cemeteries, research famous deaths, take photographs and make grave rubbings. I don't do that, but every year I post obituaries of those that have died. Famous, infamous or just ordinary people who have died during the year, that will definitely be missed.
