Bio
Marianne Mödlinger is an archaeologist and materials scientist. Her main research interests include the manufacture and use of Bronze Age weapons and armour, medieval monumental bronzes, warfare and peace strategies. From a materials science perspective, she focuses on archaeometallurgy and the building of phase diagrams. She is also involved in the protection of cultural heritage.
