Thank you for visiting my site! My name is Mrs. Ratfire, I am Head Mistress of the Rat Castle in Sheffield Lake Ohio, USA. I live in a small town on a Great Lake. As of today, I have lost 135 Pounds, see my 'Before & After' photos on this blog, categories on your right.

I have extensive gardens surrounding my home, 5,000 square feet of them!
It is a fariy tale of roses, hostas, lillys, bear's breeches, butterfly buses, rose of sharon, red cardinal lobelia, fairies, dragon flies, elfs and woodland creatures! The gardens are accented by evergreens, ornamental trees and shrubs, birch trees and Japanese Maples. The yard and gardens are set to a wooded back drop of forest. It is a bird and butterfly paridise. The humming birds swarm here every year and the twitter of thousands of birds in the woods is quite enchanting!

My wishnicks in the Rat Castle Kitchen love to cook, I take credit for all of their work. On my blog, there are hundreds of low calorie, low fat recipes. Most of the recipes have calorie counts. Recently, I started adding both Metric and American measures. I am the grand foodista!

I have the privallage of an international audience and I too, have become their fan! I visit the fascinating blogs of the people that leave a "like" on my posts.
This is more enjoyable than I could have imagined. The recipes are building into a dizzying array of simple, quick, low calorie cuisine.
