Bio
Mulugeta Woldetsadik is an Information and Knowledge Access Professional, librarian, and advocate committed to advancing equitable and inclusive access to knowledge. He is affiliated with Hawassa University, Ethiopia, where he contributes to academic librarianship and digital knowledge services.
With over two decades of experience, his work spans digital inclusion, open access, Open Educational Resources (OER), and the development of ethical and sustainable information systems. He actively leads and supports initiatives that expand access to quality print and digital learning resources through strategic partnerships and global donation programs.
He has collaborated with international organizations such as Book Aid International, Books For Africa, and the International Law Book Facility, helping bridge resource gaps and strengthen learning environments.
Mulugeta is also an active participant in global professional communities, including the African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AfLIA), the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), and the American Library Association (ALA), where he contributes to knowledge exchange, professional development, and international collaboration.
As the founder of INFOLIBNET (Information and Libraries Network), he promotes innovation, showcases impactful initiatives, and highlights the work of researchers and knowledge professionals across local, national, and global communities.
