Bio
A proud American-Australian vagabond writer living between two different worlds. As a daughter of a cowboy, she grew up in California and was educated in America and Australia. She is a lover of life and passionate about photography and helping others.
The love affair with Australia began when she was a child, but became a reality as an adult and her life was changed forever. This affair was magnified with celebrating her college graduation at the age of 43. In 1999, she embarked on a true journey of life, first landing in Sydney with a student visa in hand to teach at USYD, only to return to America to get her affairs in order and migrate to Darwin to marry the internet love in 2000. The highlight of her life was to go through the immigration process and took the Oath to Australia to become a citizen in 2006. A family crisis brought her back to America to deal with a divorce and other family issues. Finding employment has been easy, which enables easy transfer to each country and she claims her Australian Citizenship primary. She has many friends around the world, but her family resides in America for the moment, but Brisbane is her home.
The blogs attached here, will describe the lifestyle and decisions of a fortunate vagabond who will continue to board that flying kangaroo over the pond and live life. A few people have told her to settle down and save for retirement, but Australia is forever engrained in her heart and soul. No doubt, she will return permanently one day to her beloved red-soiled island home of Australia.
