Bio
I am a sports reporter for The Journal News, covering various high school sports. I covered my first beat in the fall, following girls volleyball.
I tend to say what is on my mind and believe that the truth should be heard and that not everything should be sugar coated. Some people take it differently than others, but I don't think I take it too far.
I started my own blog for volleyball but decided to change to wordpress because it looks more professional. You can preview my volleyball blog at: www.zacchio.youblog.net.
My goal is to cover bowling as much as possible with as much detail as I can. While I am only assigned boys bowling, I will track the girls bowling teams as well. My colleague, Sharieka Breeden will help me with the girls' coverage. As an avid bowler, I know the ins and outs of the sport and feel that it should get equal coverage with the "main" sports.
