Bio
So you’re here to learn a little about me, eh? Let's see… Well, my name is Nick Schafer. I was born in Vancouver and raised in Kelowna, needless to say I’m the definition of a West Coast Canadian. I dig tattoos and everything rockabilly and steampunk. That being said, my music of choice will always be classic rock n’ roll – my film prep is never complete until I’ve spent the morning listening to Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. My favorite movie of all time is Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas. But I’m still a sucker for PS: I Love You. Dogs, I freaking love dogs! Coffee. Coffee is life. Conspiracy theories are my jam and I’m obsessed with anything involving aliens, space or deep oceans. I’m an adrenaline junkie, thrill rides all day!
Hands-down my favorite season is winter (if your wedding is in the winter you get bonus points). I’m addicted to exploring the world and filming adventures of a lifetime. No project is too far, consider me already packed!
Lastly, my strongest passion of all is an easy one – creating unique films and documenting the absolute best moments in life. Everywhere I go I have a camera on me and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
