Bio
Pressley Pipkin first set her sights on being an actress when she was eight years old. After being taken to see an onstage production of “The Pajama Game”, she knew she wanted to be a part of the action. From there she went on to take part in a summer acting camp, at Texas Tech University. She then joined a local theater within her hometown of Amarillo, Texas where she took part in many onstage musicals/plays, some of which include, “The Christmas Doll”, “Peter Pan”, “The Jungle Book”, and “Little Shop of Horrors”. She gained her first lead role in the production of “OZ”, directed by previous MTV host and current Broadway “Kinky Boots” star, Todrick Hall. It was not until Pressley became fifteen, that she decided to go into television and film and make a career of it.
Since relocating to Los Angeles to pursue acting, Pressley has trained in scene study, improv, as well as commercial technique. Some of the studios and instructors she has worked with include, The Actor's Spot, Walter Pridgen Studio, Keep It Real Acting Studios, Killian's Commercial Workshop, Dennis Lavalle Studio, and Annie Grindlay Studio. She has taken part in some featured background work in projects for companies such as Fullscreen and Buzzfeed, as well as taken on a lead role in a short film, a music video, and a public service announcement project. Pressley plans to continue working, taking classes, and training to improve herself and her skills.
Pressley has strong singing abilities and a passion to match. She has been singing since a very young age and has always loved to perform. She has a great enthusiasm for travel, and has traveled to places like Italy, Spain, France, Puerto Rico, and The U.S. Virgin Islands. Her love of travel has given her a deep appreciation of culture, art, food, and in particular, history. Pressley aims to one day work alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Lange, and Viola Davis.
