Bio
Charles Prakash Dasari, known as "Prakash", has been building software since 1996 as an employee of companies such as Baan, Microsoft and OpenText playing different roles in the software engineering process. Prakash has broad experience architecting and shipping products in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Application Integration, Business Process Management, Product Configuration, UNIX Interop with Windows, Web Services Orchestration, Web 2.0, Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence.
Prakash is passionate about building software the right way and creating repeatable processes to ensure highest quality of deliverables. In his experience, he has driven companies to adopt continuous integration processes, agile development and project management methodologies and championed shorter and frequent release cycles. During his tenure he has overseen growth of engineering teams up to hundreds of people while improving the engineering excellence and quality of deliverables.
Prakash is one of the founding employees of Schakra and was responsible for shaping the engineering team and processes in the company since its formative years. As the CTO of Schakra, Prakash is responsible for R&D, Business Development, Global Partnerships, Technology Vision and Strategy.
