Bio
Dr. Guy is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in robotic and minimally invasive mitral valve surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University. He earned his MD and completed surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He has extensive training and experience in robotic cardiac surgery. He is a former Lieutenant Colonel in U.S. Army who served 3 tours as a combat surgeon in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently Director of Minimally & Robotic Cardiac Surgery at the Georgia Heart Institute at Northeast Georgia Health System
