Bio
Dedicated to the memory of Rocky and Lincoln my beloved Golden Retrievers. This blog will document the lives of two Golden Retrievers who are going to be involved in therapy dog work. Their names are TANGO and LULU. I am hopeful that one of my puppies will be born during the second week of June 2014. The second puppy will be acquired five years later. That’s the plan.
My name is Steven. I have had nine dogs and five cats over a period of 60 years: one Boxer, two Dobermans, four Golden Retrievers, two Miniature Poodles, two Burmese Cats, and three other cats who simply adopted me. I have 30 years of experience in healthcare finance during which I implemented financial systems for hospitals all over the country. I pursued a career in healthcare out of a desire to do something meaningful with my life. After seven years of retirement I joined the Dixie Regional Medical Center as a volunteer. It is my hope that TANGO and LULU will become wonderful therapy dogs. This is their story.
