Welcome
I am a married corporate workaholic, with a penchant for anything chocolate or sparkly. I have always loved repurposing cheap items and turning them into something beautiful but in the past two years it has turned into so much more. I started seriously creating things almost as a form of therapy- a way to decompress after spending 12 hours at a job I hated. Let's face it- churning out hundreds of wreaths is allot healthier than pounding shots. While my liver certainly thanked me for turning to faux florals, my tiny row house did not. Tired of feeling like he lived in an episode of "Hoarders- Crafters Edition" my husband actually suggested I start selling my stuff and thus- Stormy Monday Boutique was born. Today I still make wreaths, but I have expanded to refinishing furniture and recreating expensive items that I am much too cheap to buy. Hopefully I can provide you with some fun ideas to spruce up your home.
