You know that annoying friend you have that uses movie quotes to hold conversations? The friend you call before you go to the theater because they will tell you if it is worth it or not. The one that wins every game of Cranium because they have seen every movie ever made? Yeah, that is me. My name is Shae Rudolph. I am a broadcasting major at Millersville University with a minor in film. I got lost in the world of film at a very young age. I was watching movies like The Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption before I even knew what the sex scenes meant.
Film is the holy grail of visual arts. I think it is safe to say that everyone enjoys watching a good movie. The film industry has something for everyone to get lost in. That is the beauty of cinema. Like Brad Pitt said in Moneyball, “How can you not be romantic about it”? Of course he was talking about baseball at the time but you get the point.
