Bio
Very early on in life, I realized that something was wrong with the world I was born into. Now that I’ve spent a lifetime analyzing why humans are stupid, ignorant, mean and cruel, I have surprisingly come to the conclusion that we live in the best of all possible worlds and that we can be admirable creatures when we are being caring or creative. Ever since we broke the time barrier some 3 million years ago, and thus became intelligent, we have had a hard time dealing with the fact that we are 100% animal and 98% ape. When the god that we know was created in 325 CE, religion alleviated our angst, but it did so at the expense of science. Religion ignored science in favor of redemption. Instead of scientifically explaining the bad monkey tendencies in us, it encouraged us to simply own up to our bad deeds and ask for forgiveness. We were god-like creatures and if we were repentant, we went to heaven, that was the bottom line. It worked extremely well for centuries, but today, we must move on.
If we truly accepted the theories of Charles Darwin, if we learned how Christianity was created in 325, the Bank of England in 1694 and international finance in 1810, we could better adapt to the world of comfort and leisure that we’ve inherited. In this blog, I’d like to convince the reader that though we are not genetically programmed for this world of leisure, we can learn how it was created.
It is my firm belief that if we don't know how the world of credit came to be, we cannot possibly know what makes us tick and how to live in harmony with it.
