Bio
At the age of ten, Tiffany Lue-Yen received her first disposable camera and from there, her love and dedication for photography has swooped her into a world of celebrities, weddings, fashion and portraiture.
Having studied at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she received her Associate of Science Degree in Photography in 2004. She was exposed to all aspects of the field, both commercial and fine art.
After completing her studies, she was employed as a portrait photographer for Interstate Studio and Publishing Company and later went on to becoming an in-house image retouch artist for a portrait studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The on-going desire to be able to work as an independent photographer, motivated her to return to Jamaica, to be one of the best in the business.
Tiffany describes her style, as very clean and vibrant, with her main focus on being able to capture the essence of the subject she is photographing.
Her body of work includes countless spreads for the Teenage Observer. Photographing talents Usain Bolt, Tami Chynn, Alaine, D'Angel, Tifa and other artists Tessanne Chin and Protoje. International newspapers such as The Washington Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Other publications include Skywriting's magazine, College Lifestyle magazine and Kuya magazine by Coldwell Banker. Recent projects include The Jamaica National "I love money" press campaign 2009, Heineken Green Synergy 2010 and College Lifetyle TV.
Ever evolving, she continues to press on towards her dreams and goals and plans to continue her studies in film and cinematography in the coming years.
She states "I am so blessed to have found my purpose in life."
