Bio
Umberto Squarcia Jr. lives and works in New York City. After classical studies in Parma, Italy, he graduated from the University of Architecture of Rome, Italy. At the end of 1998 he moved to New York where he worked at M/G New York Architects, specialized in interior design at the Parsons Design School and in 2005 he created his own design company practicing a wide variety of architectural services: Historical restoration & conservation, buildings alterations, interior design & renovation, design-built, construction management & supervision, furniture design, industrial design, fashion & jewelry design, photography, guided tours to the architecture & art of Italy. He formed the Columbi Experience, an internship program for foreign students. All these professional grounds generate and inspire the creative process of Umberto’s artworks.
Umberto Squarcia Jr vive e lavora a New York. Dopo gli studi classici a parma, si e' laureato in architettura alla universita' la Sapienza di Roma.
Alla fine del 1998 si e' trasferito a new york dove ha lavorato per M/G NEW YORK architects, si e' specializzato in interior design alla Parsons school of design e nel 2005 ha creato uno studio di architettura che offre una vasta gamma di Servizi professionali:
Restauro e conservazione di edifici storici, cambi d'uso, rinnovazioni di interni ed esterni, design di interni, progettazione, direzione lavori, supervisione e costruzione, fotografia, design di arredi, design industriale, design di gioielli e accessori moda e visite guidate all'architettura e all' Arte in Italia. Ha istituito la Columbi experience, in programma di tirocinio a New York per studenti stranieri. Tutte questi campi costituiscono Le basi e le ispirazioni per le sue creazioni artistiche.
