Bio
Tobiasz Karoń also known as "unfa" was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1991. He's started his journey with making electronic music around 2004 using FL Studio 5. After a few years he switched to MODPlug Tracker (OpenMPT) and released his first album titled "Jooze" in 2008, soon after that he switched from Windows XP to Ubuntu for good and discovered LMMS in 2009. In 2011 he started recording a podcast "For No Reason" which was unfa'a artistic playground until 2014 when he stopped releasing new episodes counting total of 24. Released his second album "Backside Front" in 2012 - this time all sounds were synthesized, with no drums samples used, mostly utilising ZynAddSubFX. Around that time he started signing in the Choir of Warsaw Medical University as baritone/bass which was a great leap in developing his vocal skills. Next album was "Static" released in November 2013 which consists mostly of songs with unfa's own lyrics and vocals. It was the first album that used only ZynAddSubFX as a workhorse for synthetic sounds on the album. Not to mention unfa's singing, scraming, voice-acting, beatboxing, and playing mouth-trumpet. Static was sold in a few physical copies after the release concert in Warsaw. January 2015 ended with the release of a first double album titled "Drum & Bass Payload", a collection of instrumental tracks with occasional vocal samples recorded by unfa. He's know for his synthesizing skills, versatile vocal and videotutorials. As for April 2015, he's working as a graphic designer in a small company and freelancing as a video game music producer and sound designer using LMMS, ZynAddSubFX, Audacity and Ardour as his weapons of choice. He's favourite GNU/Linux distribution is KX Studio.
