Bio
Having found myself in Los Angeles, California when I separated out of the USMC I eventually started to look at college as a way out of a hole I had inherently dug for myself. Having started when I did at the age of about 60, I initially studied basics and my love of Photography at Los Angeles City College. I became increasingly interested in Psychology, English and Art and took numerous classes in each discipline. My graduation and AA in Applied Photography gave me the inner fortitude to continue on and transfer to a four-year college and study on to a BA degree in which I had applied to The Evergreen State College a year after we had moved to the Olympia area. Majoring in Cinematography and Media arts at Evergreen at times there was not even time to think. Having received my BA in 2008 as my education comes first as I am not quite sure I am done yet.
I have worked in campaigns for President Barack Obama, senator Patty Murray, Maria Cantwell, and Hillary Clinton. As of May 2018 I consider myself a member of the Washington State Green Party. Currently I volunteer for Senator-Nominee Tamborine Borrelli in her run for Denny Heck’s seat in Congress. Having set anchor in Olympia, WA , as a political activist and a community worker I took part after the famous 2017 National election cycle as Marcher/Protester # 5,693,623 at the 2017 Women's March on Washington D.C. Olympia, WA and surrounding region is truly a magical wonderland, a spiritual vortex all wrapped in one visual paradox so beautiful for the mind to wander through.
