Bio
Teacher of the year in 2014, engaging students in interesting activities that enhance learning is where I thrive. Add a generous helping of technology, a sprinkle of adventure, a touch of the unexpected, a dollop of humor and you have my teaching style wrapped up and ready to be unleashed. Learning doesn't have to be boring. The more we can excite our students, prompt them to search for the questions to their own learning and give them the tools to explore, then we're pulling the whole profession (students and all) into the 21st century. Teaching is not just a job for me, but a passion that calls me, it's in my DNA (literally - I come from a family of educators!).
