Bio
My Name is David Zook, i am finding my way through my 3rd decade on this beautiful planet as a recent graduate from the University of California; Santa Barbara.
My passions range from Wildlife conservation to Travel and and any and all outdoor activities in between.
I made this blog as the header says, to guide others, inspire myself and anyone else that feels drawn to the outdoors, and to remind everyone of the importance of having dreams, whatever their size or shape.
My Motivation:
Immersing myself in nature has always provided me with a clear mind and a peaceful spirit along with the benefits of staying in shape, but my real motivation is the answers i find, or rather the answers that find me when i let go of worldly troubles and begin to experience the raw sensations of our natural world.
I consider myself a seeker, sometimes of something tangible like a waterfall or even a water-fountain after a long hike (although both of these are quickly becoming endangered), but more often i find myself exploring just for the sake of a new question or answer to life.
Adventure brings me clarity of mind and a realignment of wishes, dreams, and reality that can only be truly realized atop that mountain. Whether the mountain is physical or mental, overcoming it is the key to my success, the drive for my career, and the answer to my questions.
