Bio
Shirley Vernae Williams is a graduate of The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts where she studied on camera acting. Upon graduating from the conservatory Shirley had the privilege of working for several entertainment companies, some of which include The Negro Ensemble, Park Pictures & Carson Adler Agency where she had the opportunity of assisting agents, producers and directors creatively, on set, and in post production. She has been featured in several productions including a pilot for MTV and a promotional video for Mary J. Blige's FFAWN foundation. She has taught Acting 101 for several programs, has written for Radio One's Frequency Magazine, featured guest speaker at various educational institutions and has worked for numerous networks including OWN, MTV Networks, VH1 and BET. Shirley Vernae is a mentor to many and the founder of Willie B. Productions, LLC a production company specializing in education, radio and TV. Her goal and God given purpose is to encourage and improve the African American community and it's image through entertainment and education.
