We have an SSL problem on a wordpress site for a festival.
The site’s URL is www.withyfest.co.uk, which I have done a DNS redirect to the wordpress site: withyfestdev.wordpress.com/
If someone types in withyfest.co.uk, or www.withyfest.co.uk everything is fine. They get redirected to https://withyfestdev.wordpress.com/, so a certificate is sent but accepted by the browser.
If however, you search for withyfest in google, and click on the result https://www.withyfest.co.uk, the certificate is rejected and you get the security warning page.
I don’t need any SSL at all for this site, so I really need to be able to just turn it off completely.. however I don’t have the option to do that within wordpress, and I can’t access the wp-config.php file as ftp or ssh to the server doesn’t work ( as I assume I don’t have my own server)
Any suggestions would be massively appreciated.
