Bio
Beckie Elgin is a writer and an RN living in Southern Oregon. She studied English and Creative Writing at Southern Oregon University, has a degree in Environmental Studies from Simpson College and an ADN in Nursing as well. She graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Pacific University in 2010. Her father was director of a zoo in Iowa when she was growing up, allowing her to live with wolves and other animals. She wrote a young adult book on Journey, the famous wandering wolf. The book, The Amazing Story of OR-7, the Oregon Wolf that Made History, is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Powell's Books, Inkwater Press, and in many book stores and nature shops.
