I’m Sophie, a thirty something year old fur baby Mama to Memphis th Boston Terrier, a lover of all things weddings and wedding gown guru. I am your Bridal Stylist Insider.
Think of me as your best friend who has over seven years experience styling brides from Dublin to Sydney and a self proclaimed professional bridesmaid.
I am here to simply help you find ‘the one’ as well as providing insider and expert advise, tips and tricks along the way.
From when and how to start searching for that dream gown to insider expertise on the world’s most amazing designers and styles.
My passion was set into full speed in March of 2007 when a fresh-faced college student was hired as a stylist at one of Ireland’s leading couture bridal boutiques. This quickly became my life until I hopped on a plane “for just one year” to Sydney in October 2009.
There would be a number of years before I entered the world of bridal as I worked my way through corporate and retail manahement roles at PwC and lululemon.
In January 2016 an amazing opportunity came up as a stylist at one of Australia’s leading bridal boutiques I could not pass on.
My passion for all things wedding never died during my hiatus from the industry, nor did advise given (whether asked for to not!) to my bride-to-be friends or questions asked from the soon-to-be-wed in my life.
I am a firm believer in style over trends for weddings and I am here to help all brides to be make sense of it all as the wedding scene has, in recent years, grown into this indecipherable maze of ‘should be’ and one-up-manship (or should it be one-up-brideship?), when it is simply a reflection of the bride and groom and feeling absolutely amazing on your special day in an emsable that makes you feel like a rockstar queen.
