Growing up in France, Kevin was drawn to two things above everything else: Japanese culture and Franco-Belgian comics. Both became lifelong interests, and while American comics as a medium came later, during the COVID lockdown, the transition felt like a natural one after growing up surrounded by bande dessinée.
His favourite X-Man is Magik, which feels right for someone who gravitates toward characters with darkness in their history and real complexity underneath. He reads widely but queer stories across every genre hold a special place for him. He is also the team’s resident early warning system for what is coming. New series, upcoming launches, books worth watching months before they arrive. If it is on the horizon, Kevin has already spotted it.
