Website building possibilities

  Hi all!
  Currently I started a website on within the wordpress environment, without hosting a website. I first wanted to try if I can make something out of it before investing in it. On youtube there are many turtorials explaining many options which I can’t find within the WordPress environment, like a ‘readmore’ option. Once I install the wordpress within the hosting environment, will it show as the website on Youtube? I hope I made myself clear.
