Subscriber Login Block

Use the Subscriber Login block to show links for subscribers to log in, log out, or manage their subscription to your site.

Add the Subscriber Login Block

  1. Visit your site’s dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Pages or Posts or Appearance → Editor → Templates, depending on where you want to add the login block.
  3. Edit the page/post/template you want to add the Subscriber Login block to.
  4. Click the + Block Inserter icon and search for “Subscriber Login”.
  5. Click the “Subscriber Login” option to add the block to your site.

You can also add a Subscriber Login block to your site’s navigation through your Newsletter settings.

💡

Using your keyboard, you can also type /subscriber login on a new line and press enter to quickly add a new Subscriber Login block.

Subscriber Login Block Toolbar

When you click on the block, a toolbar of options will appear above or below it:

The Subscriber Login block contains the following toolbar options from left to right:

  • Change block type.
  • Drag the block.
  • Move the block.
  • Change the block’s justification; left, right, center.
  • More options.

Subscriber Login Block Settings

When you select a block, you will find additional block settings in the right sidebar. If you do not see the sidebar, you may need to click the Settings icon in the top-right corner to bring up the settings. This icon looks like a square with two uneven columns:

In the Subscriber Login block settings, you will find the following options:

  • Redirect to current URL: By default, subscribers are redirected to the page they were on after successful login. Turn this setting off to redirect subscribers to your site’s home page instead.
  • Log In Label: “Log in” is the default label; you can change it to the text of your choice.
  • Log Out Label: “Log out” is the default text; you can change it to the text of your choice.
  • Manage Subscription Label: “Manage subscription” is the default text; change the text to what you prefer.

The Subscriber Login block also includes Advanced settings.

Subscriber Login Block Styles

In the block settings sidebar, click on the Styles icon to access the design settings for the block. The Styles icon is in the shape of a circle, with half of the circle filled in:
