   Umm.. the one Dario suggested is not a wordpress theme, it’s a social news website. I’m pretty sure you wordpresarios are smart enough to figure that one out though.

   I would like to see a theme specifically designed for multi-author blogs. call me selfish (I have one) but it would be cool with options to make posts more personal.. For example with authors avatars on the posts, integrated post/author search etc.

    I agree a 3 column option with more of a modern feel. With some of the templates there aren’t color options more color options per design.

    1. A few music themes – old classical, jazzy, rock ‘n roll, progressive, metal — whatever…

    2. Something good for science — ex. space, DNA bio, physics, numbers etc.

    3. Some medieval themes – ex. knights & dragons, castles, old ships…

    4. Hi-tech – ex. iPodish, bits & bytes, nano-tech

    5. Military – ex. soldiers, tanks, jet fighters, operations theater maps, symbols, squadron patches…

    5. Religious – ex. celtic script pages, symbologies, dove, cross, 2nd coming etc.

    Any three-column, custom-header-image theme. You must understand, for blogs with many links, three-column themese are absolutely important. And considering the demand, there is a very meagre number of themse: One.

    Full page blog layouts! Why buy a 19″ screen and have to scroll down 50 times to read a post? I know people see narrower is “easier on the eye”, but for those of us who have a lot to say…wider or manipulatable widths! I like my current “Shocking Blue Green”, but it’s about the only option you guys offer.

    When you revise, add descriptions or change the preview so that we know how wide the margins are without having to instal and preview every single one to find the right “size” margins. It’s very hard to tell from the previews.

    Full paged themes for posts with greater widths. And preview panes revised on the existing that give a better idea of margins. I bought a 21″ screen and have to SCROLL a million times to read a long post. Kind of annoying to me (I know they say smaller margins are easier on the eyes, but I wasn’t polled I don’t guess!)

    I really like that Origami theme. Something like that, but it must be widget friendly and have personalized headers….

    Someone above said a Mac OSX looking theme. Sleek icons, sleek interface.. very clean. That would be ideal. I think that would be very nice. To keep my interest in the theme spree, I suggest a surprise Saturday morning to see let’s say five new themes unveiled.

    I’m a big fan of the minimalistic look of the themes at plaintxt.org, especially blog.txt (which is also the theme used by the site itself).

    Well, can’t think of a specific theme I’d like to see, but I would suggest the WordPress team to update and add new themes periodically, like every two months or something like that.
    Themes whose banner and widgets can be modified are really good.

    I’d like to see some of the minimalist ones like hemmingway and so on have customised sidebars/bottom bars.

    I’d also like to see an option to have Blogrolls on a separate page- like links.

    And I agree with Alison about the cityscapes on Vox. I especially like the three column theme I have with different customisable colours- vishy.vox.com

    I have heaps of blogs on other services while I check out their features and get new ideas for my WordPress site. I still prefer wordpress, it’s brilliant. Keep up the good work!

    many themes have a similar style – my favorite themes are the ones I can personalize.

    i also really think a theme that’s readable but stylish is important, as well as a larger one. the prettiest ones are so skinny, i feel weird about all that wasted space on one side of the screen.

    if this just revealed that i am not a savvy web user — oops.

    oh and also…not everyone loves blue!! I have seen themes that i really think can work, but everything has some kind of blue in it – oh for gods sake!! don’t be an anti-blue-hater.

    Black and pink with a distincy Japanese feel… the comments graduated from a light pink to the hottest pink the further you scroll down.

    I think it has widgets which Hemingway does not have any…

    I would love Vistered Little by Nik Iliadis from scarylittlemonkey.com. It’s a great theme because it allows for customizability on the user’s end, as well as looking cool. That coupled with some nice backgrounds for the theme would be great!

    I agree with tekoda about not deleting any of the old/current themes (please don’t!). But new additions are definitely welcome.

    A simple theme with lots of options would be good. The standard white centre body, but with a palette-choice of surrounding colour (black as default) and uploadable tiled image option, along with customizable header (similar to the ‘Neat!’ and ‘Benevolence’ themes), font/colour options in navbar, and widget options. Also, it would be great to have the choice of making a blog’s pages not show up in the navbar so that other pages linked to one page don’t appear like an open drop-down menu in the navbar and make it look cluttered.

    The more flexible and ‘personalizeable’, the better!

    1. Please let all the themes have the “Edit” feature for the authors when they have logged in.

    2. Please let all the themes have the ability to show the couple of lines we write “about” the blog in the header.

    3. Please allow some simple amount of customization with themes just like “Regulus”.

    WordPress rocks. Both .com and .org
    I believe it is still in the growth stage, just like all FREE (freebie + freedom) technologies.

    Hi guys.

    I was thinking about your paid CSS upgraid and your sandbox theme and i thought it would be cool if you made some of the CSS avaliable as free sliders (color on some of the divs, maybe positioning etc) but save only the best CSS features for the paid upgrade. That might encourage people to buy the paid upgrade too.

    By the way, I have made a google widget for wordpress. It’s got loads of bugs at the moment, but I’m going to upgrade it.

    They’re all customizable by a 2 or three column option as well as what side you’d want your smaller column on if its two 😀

    Some darker and more earthy themes too please (black and green). All this white no matter how pretty and useful it is gets boring and hurts the eyes after a while.
