Manage your purchases

Manage your WordPress.com subscriptions from your account profile: view active plans, change payment methods, turn off auto-renewal, or cancel and refund a purchase. This guide shows where to find each option and links to detailed instructions for every task.

In this video, you’ll learn how to manage purchases and billing on WordPress.com. It covers viewing your billing history, updating payment methods, managing renewals, and upgrading your plan. You’ll also learn how to cancel a purchase and review what happens to your site afterward.

View your purchases

To view all the purchases you have made on WordPress.com, take the following steps:

  1. Hover over your name at the top right corner of any screen while logged into WordPress.com.
  2. Select the “My WordPress.com account” button:

  1. On the side, select the Billing menu option:

  1. Choose from the following options:
    • Click the “Active Upgrades” option to view a list of all your current subscriptions on WordPress.com. This will include plans, domains, email, add-ons, and any other purchases you have made with us.
    • Click Billing history to view past purchases.
    • Click Monetize subscriptions to view recurring payments (like memberships, newsletters, and donations you’ve subscribed to on other sites.
    • Click Payment methods to manage your forms of payment.
    • Click Tax details to configure tax information (VAT/GST/CT) to be included on your receipts.

Cancel a subscription to stop auto-renewal, or request a refund if you cancel within the eligible window. WordPress.com refunds annual plans within 14 days of purchase or renewal, and monthly plans within 7 days. Use these guides for the full process:
