Adding an "Ask about" feature/button to existing site

My site is about our daughter Grace’s (and our) experiences with cochlear implants. We would like to add an “Ask Grace” button to the front page. I envision questions from readers coming in as messages, to which we could reply. Can you guide me on how we might do this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I’d recommend creating a new page on your site with a Contact Form. Visitors can use that contact form to send questions, and you can either reply to those questions privately or post the questions and your responses on your site.

You can then create a link on your front page to the page with the contact form, so it’s clearly visible to visitors. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Is it a relatively straightforward process to add the link to the contact form from the front page?

We have a guide for Creating Links that walks through the exact steps, if you’d like. Once you create a page with the contact form in it, you can follow those steps to create a link to that page.

If you get stuck, just let me know and I can walk you through the process. :)

Okay thank you! Just created the page, will try to add the contact form and then create the link… Fingers crossed.
