How can I connect with other user? I joined to WordPress and found that my username which I use on many services was reserved. But user which took this name didn’t open his blog, so I hope that he don’t use this service anymore and can hand out the name for me.

I thought you referred to a WordPress.com member, and an unopened WordPress.com blog. I don’t have any other suggestions. Let you know if I think of something.

No. So he don’t use Gravatar or WordPress.
Just pointing out that there is a WordPress.com account with that username. Also, that user has a Gravatar account (http://en.gravatar.com/daimonium), but no avatar/profile image assigned, and not contact info in the Gravatar Profile page.

I’m sorry. You were right regarding the Gravatar. I didn’t read before I wrote. The username daimonium has not signed up for Gravatar.

With Google searches, you might be able to find a WordPress.com site associate with that username. Or find the username used in WP.com site articles, comments, for example.

Not necessarily true. Someone could create an account and a website, and then change the username to something else, such as daimonium. Then delete the original website. I’m not sure what happens when you delete a primary site but still have other websites, but I’ve seen other cases of active accounts where the user doesn’t have a primary website listed at the forums profile page.
Okay, Gravatar just uses WordPress account, so it is created automatically.
Seems I was right the first time. Your Gravatar Profile page, including the image, has the same “SignUp” message on it that the other one does when I visit it. That just means that I’m not logged into that account.
I would have suggested way early on that you add a “modlook” tag to the side bar to call for staff attention, but I didn’t because I don’t see how they could provide you with the email address or any other contact information they might hold on daimonium or any other member. It would be a privacy violation.
A WordPress.com member is under no compulsion to provide any contact information on a website, in his or WordPress.com profile or Gravatar profile pages, or anywhere else publicly. Yes, WordPress has the email address associated with the account, but they will not, can not, legally share it.

I know that @username can register any free subdomain.

Of course! PM system with notifications on e-mail is a better way to resolve such problems without administration. But in our case only moderators can help as mediums. So I won’t know any private info.

If a username is taken and is not easily associated with any WordPress.com site, there will be no way for you to contact that user, I’m afraid.

Okay. I just asked because Telegram’s support offers that and I thought that it isn’t hard for WordPress’ support to send an e-mail to one of their users… But if you don’t, I have no more questions. Thanks for quick respond.
