DNS TXT record length

  Would wordpress.com consider allowing DNS TXT records that are more than 255 characters long? For all of us generating DKIM records from cpanel and other places that supply DKIM TXT >255 records, that would be very helpful!

  Hey there, I couldn’t say whether or when it would be implemented, but I’m happy to pass along the request! For now, for DKIM, we recommend setting the key length to 1024 if you want to give that a go.

  There is a cpanel hack to do that, but they don’t recommend it since a 1024 key is much less secure than a 2048 key. Just a feature request for wordpress.com to support 2048-key DKIM records, for security reasons.
