Domain/analytics question.

  I have a domain that I purchased using Google Domains. My friend and I are debating on whether to use the domain here through WordPress but we are new to this and a little confused. If we chose not to get a plan through WordPress and just proceeded with using the “free” option, would we have no access to any sort of analytics? Would we be able to see see clicks and views on our content regardless or is that only available with a WordPress plan?

  Stats are available for sites on the free plan, and there’s more on these here: https://wordpress.com/support/stats/

  You are able to use the domain with WordPress.com by connecting the domain: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
