Don’t receive download link

Hello,
I’m trying to export my database. I receive the message as ‘Your export is being processed!
A download link will be sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) when the export has finished.’ However, I don’t receive any thing. This situation lasts several months. I try to change to other themes but nothing helps. Please tell me what happens and what I should do to export my data?Thank you

Hi vuonbachhop,
I’ve looked into this and several export emails have been sent to the email address on your Account Settings page. If you haven’t done so already, please check your spam and social folders in case the email has gone there.
After exporting from My Sites > Settings, there should be a “Download” link next to “Your export was successful! “. Are you able to download the .xml file using that link?

I checked all my boxes including spam and social box. However, I didn’t received any email. I either didn’t see “Download” link and “Your export was successful! “
They keep the sentence “Your export is being processed!” all the time. My site isn’t heavy for sure.
In summarize, there’s no link provided to me :(

@vuonbachhop I can see two “Export completed” emails that left our system about 6 hours ago. Did you get those? I’ll also try creating an export file on our end.

Hi there,
You can use the export option from the WP Admin dashboard to directly download your contents. Here’s a link to that page:

You can directly download an export file by going to My Sites > Settings > Export. Click the “Export All” button and after the process has been completed click on the “Download” link appearing above. Here’s a screenshot to make things easier:

Hi there,
I’ve sent an email to the address associated with your account. If you don’t receive that either, please try searching Gmail for “wordpress.com”. That should return all emails that we’ve sent you that have not been deleted already, even ones that Gmail might have filtered.

You can also see I didn’t get any other mail
Please resend me the working link and it’ll be better if we can know the reason why I can’t receive data file automatically or get download link. I backup data monthly so it’ll make you crazy if I bother you every month for this matter.

It seems that I can’t receive automatic email.

The email we resent isn’t automatic, but was sent from our support system, the same as the email I sent yesterday with the subject line, “Export for vuonbachhop.wordpress.com” which you did receive as I can see it in your screen shot fourth from the top.
If you’re not receiving the second one I sent earlier today, nor any of the automated emails, there’s a problem on Gmail’s end and you’ll need to contact them to find our why our emails are not getting through to your inbox.

Your system may get problem because it never finishes the process —-> I can’t download.
I tried another account, it works, but vuonbachhop.wordpress.com didn’t. So I don’t understand what happened. I hope you can give me an answer.

Remove the spaces from that link and it will work. I explained this in the second email I sent, which you did not receive for some reason.
That email was sent directly from our support email address, exactly the same as the first one I sent, so there’s no reason you should not have received it.
Also, I’ve redacted the link from your comment above, as this is a public forum and that link will allow anyone to download your site’s content to import somewhere else.

Hi vuonbachhop,
I noticed you have replied from two accounts. Are you checking the email address listed on the Account Settings page of your vuonbachhop account? The username listed on that page will confirm whether you are checking the email address we contacted.
I have also managed to remove the spaces from the URL to create a working download link so please double check whether all spaces have been removed.
